The Impact of Active Aging of the Baby Boom Generation on Depression, Life Satisfaction, Anxiety of Death and Ego-integrity

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how active aging of baby boomers affects depression, life satisfaction, death anxiety, and ego-integrity. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 600 adults between the ages of 57 and 65 who belong to the baby boom generation. The results indicated that first, there was a significant correlation between the main variables of this study. Second, participation in active aging, health and safety factors were all shown to have significant effects on depression. Third, participation in active aging, health and safety factors all have significant effects on life satisfaction. Fourth, the health and safety factors of active aging have significant effects on death of anxiety. Fifth, the participation of active aging, health and safety factors all showed significant effects on ego-integrity. Through this study, the significance of the impact of active aging of baby boomers was examined and suggestions were made for follow-up research.
